Gee Ramadhan is leaving us soon as Syawal approaches. Hoping we've done our best this Ramadhan & may we meet Ramadhan again next year. I'm taking this opportunity to seek for forgiveness for any wrongdoings along the friendship trail. Wishing everyone Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri Maaf Zahir Batin. Iftar, Farewell & Welcome Dinner

Assalamualaikum to everyone. Alhamdulillah today is the 12th day of fasting ie it's about one third of Ramadhan. Many of us may have started to prepare for the forthcoming Syawal. Despite the excitement for shopping we have to ensure that we don't overspend as the price of goods has increased tremendously.
Last Saturday our office held an iftar, farewell & welcome dinner at Double Tree Hotel formerly known as Crown Princess. It was a farewell for Yoshida san who is the longest serving MD of the company. It was a great 7 years working with him & wishing him all the best in his future undertakings. His successor is Miyama san aged 27 the youngest MD ever. Hoping that MIyama san will be a great boss & adapt to his new life in Malaysia.

Assalamualaikum to all my dear friends. This may be kind of late but I'd like to wish everyone Selamat Mengerjakan Ibadah Berpuasa. Alhamdulillah we're given the opportunity to meet Ramadhan again this time. I believe all of us are doing our best to fill the Ramadhan with the good deeds. May Allah shower us His blessings
Schedule was tight with the BODM & AGM plus the boss is leaving for Japan thus there're loads to settle. InsyaAllah will update again soonest possible

Karnival Kesihatan Wangsa Melawati@Masjid Al-Muttaqin

Karnival Kesihatan Wangsa Melawati was held on Sunday 10 July 2011. The organizer was the Committee Members of Masjid Al-Muttaqin & IKRAM. There were several events held during the carnival ie Parenting Forum, Blood donation & health screening, Story telling & reading session etc. There were also stalls selling food, clothes, books & etc. Wardina was one of the special guests who had a special session with the children. Alhamdulillah the carnival was a success & there was a good crowd. Looking forward to this kind of community event again in the future.

Charity Bazaar @ CHOW

Assalamualaikum & warmest greetings to everyone. Hoping that everyone is in the pink of health. For those staying in KL & Selangor it's time to stay put tomorrow as most of the major roads in KL will be closed
Alhamdulillah the Charity Bazaar @ CHOW was a great success & the response was overwhelming. Some of the vendors just came solely to support the event. They simply picked up items for sale for that single day only. They are all wonderful people with a very big heart The patrons are also very supportive & they really came to buy for charity. There were range of offerings from food, clothes, fruits, collectibles & also items from Palestine.
A bunch of thanks to the organizer Puan Nazneen & the whole team for making it a success. InsyaAllah will be participating again next time.

Charity Bazaar

Last weekend we went back to Ipoh to attend my cousin's (Adri) wedding in Taiping. It was held at the First Galleria, Taiping which features the Malay heritage.

Moist choc cake with cheese

Assalamualaikum to everyone. Hoping that everyone is in the pink of health.
I'd like to share a simple yet delicious choc cake recipe. Warning: not recommended for those on diet / weight watchers:-D
Recipe
Moist choc cake (by Roha)
Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups castor sugar
1 cup cocoa powder
1 cup cooking oil
1 cup hot water
1 small can - condensed milk
5 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp soda bicarbonate
Method
Using a mixer, beat the egg & sugar
Add in the egg, oil & hot water
Lastly add the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder & soda bicarbonate.
Beat till it's well blended
Bake it at 150C for 45 min.
Cream cheese layer (by Mak Lang)
Ingredients
250g cream cheese
60g castor sugar
25ml water
1 egg
Method
Mix together the cream cheese, water & egg & beat until fluffy.
Pour it onto the baked choc cake.
Put it into the oven for 20 minutes.
Chocolate sauce
200g cooking chocolate
100g fresh milk (strawberry flavor)
Melt them using the double boil method.

Assalamualaikum. Alhamdulillah I'm able to update this page again Just sharing a few of my favourite pix. These were taken in 2003 during our neighbour's wedding reception. Kakak was then only 7 years old, Nurul 4 & Nasrul 2. Now they've grown up as teenagers & the fact is I'm getting older.
